I bought bread for a party, but unfortunately I was only able to buy up to 10 conchas with the same flavor so I bought another batch at another panaderia (even though there were a lot) but it is okay because the bread from here taste good but were not fresh.

I have been coming here for over 30 years since my grandparents were alive and I would stay with them during summers. The pan has always been fresh although fail and the ladies who work there over the years have always been kind. Oh and by the way... They DO now accept credit cards with a $5 minimum. And you'll definitely be grabbing more than they worth of sweets because it's worth it. Also the prices are fantastic compared to a lot of the newer artisan "panaderias" popping up everywhere. Here all cookies are around 35 to 50 cents and the most you'll pay for a pan is I think $1.75 with most being around $1. Trust me, it's always been worth it. We thought it was still cash only so we intended to only get a few pieces but when we saw that cards were accepted, it was on!!! So three bags later and if still was only $14!

Fiesta Bakery is within a few minutes drive of one of the UNESCO world heritage San Antonio missions - Mission Conception. Tip: don’t judge the quality of the food inside by the appearance of the bakery on the outside (or inside for that matter). Excellent price-quality ratio and very friendly team working there! We ordered a selection of colorful polvorones (sugar cookies that are crunchy on the outside and softer on the inside), coconut macaroons (rich in flavor, perfectly moist & chewy) apple- and pumpkin-filled empanadas (recommend to eat when slightly warmed), conchas (often the most typical Mexican pastry that is basically a cookie baked on top of a bread roll that are colorful and sweet), cuernos (imagine the shape of a croissant with colorful sugar topping it) and a cream puff covered in powdered sugar. Everything we ordered was delicious! The cream puff and coconut macaroons were eaten upon exiting the bakery mainly so the cream / dairy fillings wouldn’t melt in the San Antonio heat (and because they looked and smelled so good). These are the best tortillas I’ve found in San Antonio. They taste like my Nana used to make and I have tried a ton of places. I go here every couple of weeks to stock up. The pan de huevo is great and they have so many cookie options. Everything here is fantastic and inexpensive.
